Selina was a full time Primary School teacher but since having Isabel and Thomas has only returned to teaching part time. She has been taking photos most of her adult life, but the bug did not take hold until the beginning of 2002 when we purchased our first digital camera ready for our pending trip to Iceland. It was then that she discovered that taking lots and lots of pictures only cost her time, not money, in having them developed.
In August 2004 Selina took her love of horses and photography to a new level by joining the press pack as a freelance photographer at ‘The Festival of British Eventing, Gatcombe Park’.
Towards the end of 2004 Selina was able to secure a commission to provide the photographic pictures for a 2005 company calendar.
2005 has so far been a busy one with highlights being the tour of New Zealand in March / April, two photographic workshops run by a company called WildArena, both in the UK. The first was to photograph Big Cats (Tigers, Lions and Leopards) and the other was held at Marwell Zoological Park, and in July with the help of Michael she was the official photographer at Charville Primary School’s year 6 prom. Again in August Selina was back at Gatcombe Park for the second year as a freelance photographer.
